SEO Audit: Most SEO problems are fixable, once you know where to look

An SEO audit is less about discovering exotic problems and more about systematically eliminating the obvious ones that silently cap your rankings. Missing title tags, absent structured data, slow load times, these don't announce themselves. They just prevent pages from performing as well as they should. The right order matters: check whether Google can crawl and index your pages before optimizing content. A beautifully written page with a noindex directive or a broken canonical doesn't rank regardless of how good the copy is. Then work through on-page signals, title, H1, meta description, heading structure, before moving to performance and trust signals. For sites under a few hundred pages, monthly checks on key pages and a full quarterly audit is a sensible cadence. After a redesign, migration, or CMS change, audit immediately, those events break more SEO than almost anything else.
