Why On-Page SEO Matters
On-page SEO is the foundation of every successful search strategy. Before Google can rank your content, its crawlers must be able to find, understand, and index your pages correctly. Issues like missing title tags, absent canonical URLs, or blocked robots meta tags can silently suppress rankings — even for great content.
Studies consistently show that pages with optimised title tags and meta descriptions earn 5–30% higher click-through rates in search results. Structured data (JSON-LD schema) can unlock Rich Results — star ratings, FAQs, and breadcrumbs directly in the SERP — dramatically improving visibility.
Mobile-friendliness and server response time are direct Google ranking signals. Since 2019, Google uses mobile-first indexing for all websites — if your viewport meta tag is missing, Google evaluates your page as a desktop-only site, with real ranking consequences.
Social tags (Open Graph and Twitter Cards) don't directly influence search rankings, but they control how your links appear when shared on LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Slack — impacting referral traffic and brand perception, which in turn builds the authority that fuels organic growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the free SEO audit tool.
Is this SEO audit tool really free?
Yes — 100% free with no sign-up, no credit card, and no usage limits. Just enter a URL and get your report instantly.
How is the SEO score calculated?
Each of the 18 checks is weighted by priority (critical, important, or minor). Passed checks earn full weight, warnings earn half weight, and failures earn nothing. The score is the ratio of earned weight to total possible weight, scaled to 100.
What do the priority levels mean?
Critical issues (red) have the largest impact on rankings — fix these first. Important issues (amber) are significant but not urgent. Minor issues (grey) are nice-to-have improvements.
Does the tool check Google PageSpeed or Core Web Vitals?
The tool measures raw server response time. For full Core Web Vitals data (LCP, FID, CLS) we recommend running Google PageSpeed Insights as a complement to this audit.
Can I audit pages behind a login?
No — the tool fetches the page the same way Googlebot does, as an unauthenticated visitor. Only publicly accessible pages can be audited.
Why should I download the PDF report?
The PDF is a shareable, client-ready SEO audit report. It includes your score, grade, and every check result with recommendations — useful for client deliverables, internal reviews, or tracking improvements over time.
How often should I run an SEO audit?
Run an audit whenever you publish new content, make structural changes to your site, or as part of a monthly SEO review. Regular audits help you catch regressions before they impact rankings.
Is my URL data private?
The URL you audit is sent to our server only to fetch the HTML for analysis. We do not store, log, or share the URLs you submit.
