What resolution should I choose?
144 DPI (2× scale) is ideal for web uploads, presentations, and email. Choose 288 DPI for print-quality output. 72 DPI produces smaller screen-only images.
Can I convert a multi-page PDF?
Yes. Every page is converted to a separate JPG. Download individual pages or use 'Download All' to get every page at once.
Will password-protected PDFs work?
No. Encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked first. Remove the password before converting, then optionally re-add it with our PDF Locker.
What affects the output image quality?
Resolution (DPI) determines pixel dimensions — higher DPI = larger, sharper images. JPEG quality (50–100%) controls compression — 92% gives excellent quality at reasonable file size.
Why are my converted images blurry?
Switch to a higher resolution: 216 DPI or 288 DPI. PDFs with very small text or fine graphics require higher DPI for sharp output.
